Extending the Umbraco backend Using Angularjs and WebAPI

After the example project I creating using MVC I thought it would be fun to show how you can now extend the Umbraco v7 backoffice with AngularJS and WepAPI. So in Umbraco v7 you have three options webforms, mvc or angularjs/webapi.

So I’ve just published a new project to github that does extactly that

I’l follow up this post with some more detailed ones describing the different steps

    Hi Tim,

I have seen that you have created a directive for the media picker. I was wondering whether there is a way to reuse Umbraco property editors in order to avoid to have to recreate all the controls (dropdown list, checkbox list, pickers, …).
I guess it is not something easy, but if you could give some clues on how to do it, that would be very helpful.

    Hey Tim,

I can’t see the follow up post to this one - is there one? I am unsure of how to use this project - am I just supposed to build and run it in visual studio? I am trying to build my own custom umbraco section which connects to an external database and allows me to edit entities in that database.
