Why umbraco rocks - no design limitations

To continue the why umbraco rocks posts, just look at the diversity of sites running umbraco. One of the great things of umbraco is that you have complete control over what is ouputted. You start with an empty ‘template’ and can add any html you want. You are not forced into skinning (like many other cms systems) but can just mold umbraco around your (x)html templates.

    So true, so true.

And damn I miss the Website Gallery section of the Umbraco site, I’ve gotten so much inspiration from that one in the past :-)

Absolutely true, you should add http://www.furuvik.se/ to the list, which is 100% flash, using umbracos templates to output xml.

    Tim -

I’ve worked on one website with you that you skinned perfectly for Neuron Global and I’ve now been able to create my own. It’s a travel website for the Philippines GrooveNet Travel. I’m trying to get the rest of GrooveNet’s website over to Umbraco but having to deal with some reservations of one of the owners.
